Background

An educator first — shaped by years inside classrooms, admissions rooms and family conversations.

Dr. Sudhir Reddy’s work has spanned schools, colleges and universities — teaching, mentoring, and helping institutions think clearly about how students are prepared for the world they are actually entering.

Alongside academic leadership, he has spent years inside admissions and counselling conversations: sitting with parents weighing streams, with students unsure about courses, and with families trying to understand which college, programme or direction truly fits their child.

His research in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning gives him a working understanding of how technology is changing the shape of careers — not as a futurist, but as someone who has to translate that change into calm, practical guidance for real families.

Why Spoken Careers exists

Families today are deciding under more pressure, with more noise, and less clarity than ever before.

Most career decisions in Indian families happen during one of the most stressful years of a student’s life — and they happen surrounded by opinions: from relatives, peers, coaching institutes, social media, and well-meaning advisors who often contradict each other.

At the same time, the world students are stepping into is changing rapidly. Industries are reshaping, AI is rewriting how work gets done, and the safe choices of a decade ago are not automatically safe anymore. Families feel this — even when they cannot quite name it.

Spoken Careers was created as a response to that confusion. A calmer, more structured way for parents and students to think together — grounded in long experience, supported by modern tools, and free of the noise that surrounds these decisions elsewhere.

Families deserve clearer thinking during important life decisions.

Human + AI Career Guidance

Technology helps us see patterns. People help families make decisions.

Career conversations at Spoken Careers are led by Dr. Sudhir Reddy. AI is used quietly in the background — to organise what a student has shared, to surface possibilities that might otherwise be missed, and to compare options against how the world of work is changing.

It does not replace judgement. It does not make the decision. When a family is choosing a direction for their child, what matters most is the human conversation — listening carefully, asking the right questions, and helping parents and students arrive at clarity together.

Think of it as a thoughtful educator with better tools — not a system pretending to be one.
